V-Type LISN 50 / 250uH 16A
For development and pre-compliance measurements
For pre-compliance conducted EMI testing an Artificial Main or Line Impedance Stabilization Network is required. The LISN 50/16 AC is a measurement platform that is compliant with CISPR 16-1-2, VDE 0876 and FCC part 15.
A LISN is used to safely separate the 9kHz - 110MHz band from the line voltage and provides a standardized impedance over which is measured.
It can be used as a V-, Δ- and T-network, which makes it ideal for solving EMI problems.

Conducted EMI
Using the built-in DM, CM and single line measurement, the LISN50/16 eases problem analysis to find the noise source in a system.
Filtered Mains
The 250μH input (pre-)filter eliminates interference from the mains outlet.
Low/High pass
The selectable low- and high-pass filters eliminate measurement errors due to clipping of the measurement receiver. The filters are combined with a built-in attenuator/limiter that protects the spectrum analyzer from harmfull input transients during power on of the equipment under test.
This measurement instrument has been designed by electronic engineers for electronic engineers who deal with devices that are connected to the Mains like inverters, machines and power supplies.
Use
The circuit used, conforms to the specifications of EN 55016-1-2, VDE 0876 and FCC part 15 with V-, Δ- and T-network measurements.
The simulated impedance is (50μH / 250μH + 5 Ω ) || 50 Ω in the frequency range 9 kHz to 110 MHz. Filters are provided to reduce the bandwidth.
It is designed to allow for peaks up to 30A without loss of linearity.
Note: Due to the large Y capacitors, an isolation transformer or floating power source is recommended/required.
